Healthy Pregnancy Treatments

Calm the mind, reduce stress, alleviate aches and pains and promote general circulation for healthy pregnancy development. Once safely into the second trimester of pregnancy, we recommend reducing weekly sessions to 1-2 treatments per month throughout gestation to help mom and her growing baby during this important time. More frequent treatments may be recommended in certain cases.

Labor Prep Acupuncture Treatment

Our experience has shown that regular acupuncture treatments from week 36 of pregnancy through delivery significantly improves birth outcomes and reduces medical interventions. Not only can these treatments help prevent the need for a medical induction, they may help in having a shorter and more progressive labor.

Herbs During Pregnancy

At Grow Wellness Acupuncture, we believe that less is more when it comes to receiving treatment and taking herbs while pregnant. Having said that, mild herbal formulas can be extremely helpful in alleviating common discomforts where acupuncture is not providing the desired results. After labor and delivery, herbal formulas can be extremely nourishing in replenishing the body after such a tremendous expenditure of energy. When prescribed by a trained herbalist, herbal formulas are completely safe when taken during pregnancy or while breast feeding.
